This policy explains how Monivoxx ("we") handles your personal data when you use monivoxx.com. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect and why

Free assessment

Your assessment answers are stored in your browser only. To calculate your score, they are sent to our server over an encrypted connection, processed, and not stored.

Account and full report

  • Email address and password (stored as a secure hash by our authentication provider) — to give you access to your account.
  • Your assessment answers, calculated scores and generated reports — to provide the report, dashboard and 90-day plan you purchased.
  • Progress on your 90-day plan, the savings you record in the savings tracker and your net-worth snapshots — to provide these features.
  • Your subscription status and Stripe customer reference — to manage your membership.
  • Payment records (amount, currency, status, Stripe reference) — to fulfil and account for your purchase. We never receive or store your card details.
  • Monthly spending totals from bank statements you choose to import. The file itself is read in your browser and never uploaded; we store only totals per category, the number of transactions and recurring payments found.
  • Which emails we have sent you and your email preferences — so we never send the same email twice and respect your choices.
  • Feedback you send us through the app, with the page it was sent from.

Free calculators

The inputs of the public health-insurance and Pillar 3a calculators (postcode, age group, premium, deductible) are processed to show the result and not stored, unless you are a member, in which case the headline result is saved to your Savings Finder.

Emails

We send account emails (welcome, end of a free trial or pass, receipts from Stripe) and, unless you switch them off in Settings or with the link in each email, a weekly summary and reminders (monthly check-in, deadlines). Emails are delivered by our email provider.

Analytics

We use cookie-free, privacy-friendly statistics (Plausible Analytics) to count page views and which steps of the assessment and sign-up are reached. No cookies are set, IP addresses are not stored, and your answers or financial figures are never sent.

Legal bases: performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in operating a secure service, and legal obligations (e.g. accounting records).

Service providers

  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
  • Market data and news providers (Swiss National Bank, European Central Bank, Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko, news publishers) — our servers fetch public market data and headlines from them. No personal data is sent to these providers.
  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe processes your payment data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
  • Hosting provider — to run the website.
  • Email provider (Resend) — to deliver account emails, summaries and reminders. It receives your email address and the email content.
  • Plausible Analytics — cookie-free visitor statistics, hosted in the EU. No personal data is stored.
  • AI text provider (only if enabled) — to phrase the opening summary of your report. Only aggregated figures (scores, amounts) are sent; never your name or email.

Some providers may process data outside Switzerland, including in the EU and the United States. Where required, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

Account data, answers and reports are kept until you delete your account. Payment records are kept for 10 years as required by Swiss accounting law, without a link to your account after deletion.

Security

All connections use HTTPS. Database access is restricted with row-level security so each user can only access their own records. Payment card information is handled exclusively by Stripe.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export and delete your data. Export and deletion are available directly in your account settings; see how to delete your data. You can also contact us at mail@monivoxx.com, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local EU supervisory authority.

Cookies

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in. See our Cookie Policy.
